WHAT IS LIFE EXPECTANY FOR A TIMING CHAIN ON A 1988 M6,
IS THERE A RECCOMENDED MILEAGE FOR REPLACEMENT?

Agree with Ian, should do it at 100/110k miles. Did mine at 110k including chain, sprockets and tensioners. All well worn. Very expensive if the chains let go!
