The headlights will not look like that, and BMW would never let the rear of their car look like a Lexus! This proto is merely to try the platform of the new 7, and the lines are puffed-up to fool the copycats (Lex/Infiniti/etc.). This is what is called a "mule" in the industry.

If the new 7 looks that ugly, I will neer drive one. Personally, I think the current model is by far the nicest they've offered.
