Happy Easter to all!

Spent a glorious day on the autobahn today. Beautiful, sunny weather (about 60 degrees), and my wife and I took our M6 out for a good 530km ride.

The M car can still run with the big boys out there. Averaged about 180km/h the whole ride - pumped it up to about 220 a couple of times to keep up with the younger Bimmers, Porsches, Audis, etc. Runs steady as a rock, manages the twistier spots with great manners at those speeds, and (for what it's worth) the fuel consumption is adequate, considering how fast we were travelling. But - if you're concerned about fuel economy, you don't need the car. Buy a Honda.

No major mods (except for a K&N filter and sound system), and yes - I'm still running TRXs. They're quiet and hold the road rather nicely.

Anyone can have a 3 or a 5, or even a 7 series - but there aren't a whole lot of E24 M cars out here - and I'm lucky to have found a good 'un.

Can't beat fun like this.
