Look at the 3 series - initially it was not at all planned as a 4 door sedan. There were also no convertibles. Now we have already 3 (3 series, z3, z8) If the 6 comes as a cab, it will be the fourth.
Yes, BMW can afford it, and if they don't repel a possible customership that tends to some nostalgia and more luxury - it could also sell.
For me personally - the 3 series is just TOO COMMON. What is the point of driving a car that you see almost too often? Boring.

won't be anything like the E 24. I just wish the new one can capture these Jaguar-like proportions...gorgeous!!
