I drove my '85 635 today for essentially the first time (bought at Thanksgiving, stored it and worked on it over the winter). It was a great reminder of why I bought it!!

After driving for about 2 hours, it started chiming. Intermittently. Sounded like a key left in when door open, or a seatbelt, or lights, or ??? But none of those were valid. Kept doing it when I shut the car off, and removed the key. Stopped later. Started again, then went away.

Two questions:

1. Any ideas on what it was?
2. What usually chimes on these? I haven't driven it enough to know if keys left in, or ?? will cause the chimes to go off. If I can develop a list, I can troubleshoot from there.

Thanks for any help you can give!
