I bought a 79 635 Euro for 3500 with 89K miles on the clock. The car was fine except for a few very minor rust spots on the car. I bought it off my mechanic who was the original owner and importer of the vehicle and I have everything from the original sales receipt to the DOT papers that made it legal. My mechanic even rebuilt all four calipers as part of the deal. I really love this car, and you will love yours if you get it. Just can't beat the dogleg tranny either. I rather think I stole the car for the price - so offer less and see what happens.

The next car I want to buy off my mechanic is his M1 for my weekend car!!

I am interested in a 79 euro 635. It's a very nice original car, except for 17" wheels. It has 115 k miles, full history and records, and has been recently serviced by a good mechanic who I know. The asking price is $8900. Any thoughts on what it's actually worth.
