Here's my situation. 1979 633csi in good condition is what I currently have. M spoilers chrome mirrors and freeflow exhaust. Interior is ok except for front seats. Car is a head turner and I absolutely love it. current probs include nonworking a/c, need new bilsteins all around, rear differential is bad and tranny is going bad and 3 of 4 window motors are broken.

being offered to me by an associate is an 88 m6 schwarz? black/white paint is ok, interior is very good. body is clean and straight. he is the original owner. mileage is 98k. no major problems that i have found yet aside from maybe a self-leveling issue. price to me is 8k.
i love my 6er but always wanted it to be an m6. any advice would be appreciated.

I bought a 85 M635i for $8K. It was in pieces from from a dishonest body shop and had a very bad paint job. I repainted the car, put it back together, changed the TRX's, and it has been a great car. The only maintenance has been a tune up. That was a year ago. I love this car.
