I understand these chips and exhausts are suppose to be the thing but from what I learned from a tuner in germany who only tunes BMW's. I was told that Putting chips on all models are not as effective for real time numbers as the claims are.

I was told to have my 86 //M635 dyno tuned instead of putting a chip in to get the most of
power gains. And I could see at least 280+ at the wheels. I will be doing it in a few weeks...
