Rare as rocking horse droppings AFAIK. Still looking for a wrecked ont to do an auto to manual conversion on my 89 (I know earlier stuff will fit but sorting the electics/electronics is a bit iffy)

I'm not a regular on this board, so please pardon me if this question has been covered before. How difficult is a 1988 or 1989 635csi (not an M6) with a 5 speed manual transmission to come by? Virtually every late-model 635 that I've seen is an automatic. Were manuals imported into the U.S. at that time? TIA-Robert
