What is the impetus behind mis-badging a car?
Why would anyone want to fake and pretend that they have something other than what they really have?

Because I would like an M6!!! So until i can afford the $60000 of a genuine one,i'll settle for a fake one. Besides we never got a true M6 here in Australia although we did get ///M optioins on the cars here. which in turn had the ///M badging factory fitted even though it did not have a M engine.
