I don't think this is the O2 sensor (a year old is considered a baby !)
I'd clean the throttle body and intake passages, PCV Valve, and check/clean the MAF sensor connections, (behind the air filter there is a small sensor in the housing)
The alcholol only help if you do it right before the test. Go there with low on gas, right before that put one gallon of alchohol into the tank, run through the test and fill it up with low octane (to keep temp down) immidiately.
BUT ! Why didn't they explained to you what is this "Other categorie" Which reading were high ? Co , Co2 or carbon or etc. God knows what they tested there ! Post the readings, that could help !
