Just a suggestion:
PCH south to Laguna Beach.
Left onto Laguna Canyon (133).
Right onto El Toro.
Right onto Live Oak Canyon (at Cook's corner) which becomes Trabuco Canyon.
Right onto Santa Margarita.
Left onto Antonio.
Left onto Ortega.

I've done the El Toro through Ortega run many a time, and it is a favorite of many bikers who frequent Cook's. The "Lookout" at the far end of Ortega is a favorite watering hole (small dirt parking lot). However...this is long run and traffic can be an issue.

I was on Ortega today, always a blast to drive. Try the side road near the crest - Killan Trail, or the loop up past Blue Jay campground that comes around to intersect with Killan Trail.
