It's unfortunate when people who know nothing about a subject blab about it as if they are knowledgable. The dealer misrepresented the car to the buyer. This is called fraud. If the buyer has accurately explained what happened, and can prove that the dealer sold the car as an M6, he has an excellent chance of winning a lawsuit against the dealer. Without a lawyer, he's screwed; with a lawyer, he may be able to get the dealer to take the car back and refund his money, or pay him the difference between the value of an M6 and the car he actually got. How do I know? I'm a lawyer. Colin
