I know this does you absolutely no good but for what its worth I pulled a SI board out of a 84 533 in a junkyard that did have an extra wire attached running to a peg. I don't think I used it when I put it in my 85 535 but I would have to look to be sure. One additional note is that newer replacement board had the lithium batterys, not the old AA nicads.
