On my 80 633 there is a spot right above door frame rear where 2 ends meet and no cover,another spot on lower half under rear window where there is a clip........hope it helps.....gl

I am restoring an 88 Csi, including replacing 90% of the trim. Question is about the trim around the door and backside windows. There is a black piece and a chrome piece. The chrome piece has two sections that meet near the middle of the window. Is there a clip that covers where the chrome pieces meet? The guy doing the restoration claims that there is not. I cannot remember, but it seems like there should be a “trim cap” that goes over the two pieces to secure them? If you could take a look and let me know I would appreciate it.
