: I am looking at a set of 16" BBS RZ's (Basketweave style, 37mm offset?)off of an E30. The question is, will it fit my E28 535i? If any of you know, I would appreciate an answer. It would be great to get rid of the TRXs.

Not to belabor the obvious, but most E30's are 4 bolt wheels whereas the E28's are 5 bolt, so I assume you have made sure these aren't. Beyond that, you will need spacers to make these work properly. Spacers aren't inherently bad, but if you do any sort of track time or even spirited street driving, it could pose a problem. Also, a quality set of spacers will cost you a couple hundred dollars, which could negate the cost savings of the used wheels.
