: I have a 85 535 with tired white original paint. It looks classic...but thinking of silver or dolpoihn grey. should i just keep it white.??
Personally, I think sin is probably too strong a word but I wouldn't change the original colour of a car - people rarely get it 100% correct and you can usually find areas of the original colour hidden away somewhere on the car.
I have a white M535i and it really suits the car as long as it's kept clean - which is very difficult in the wet Scottish climate. Also white tends to show any tiny little rust spots more than any other colour. I would say keep it white if you're prepared to work on the 'aftercare' and keep the originality. Dolphin is a really nice,'low maintenance' colour - it nearly always looks good - even if you don't clean the car from one month to the next! - I know - I rarely cleaned my last car!
: : I've decided on all of the options I want in my 528, but am still deciding on exterior/interior color. I know traditional black and silver look great, but am leaning towards something a little different. Looking for opinions on thiese color combinations Oxford Green/sand leather interior or Orient Blue/sand leather interior. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..Thanks
