: Okay I know this is an old subject but, I need help! I just ordered a set of MAS 16x7.5 20mm offset factory replice mags and Nitto 225/50/16VR from Discount Tire Direct, and I want to know if they will rub. The car is lowered about 1.5 inches.

Ed, on my '88 528e I had 7.5"x16" Momo R1's with an offset of 18mm. I used Kelly HR's (Oh! The horrors! What can I say, I was broke at the time) in the 225/50 16 size.

The car had Racing Dynamics springs and no-name shocks in front and OE springs with Bilstein HD's at the lowest spring perch setting. I got rubbing on the LR fender lip when the car was loaded down, or hit a major dip in the road. Other than that, not a problem.

I would think the 20mm offset should alleviate that problem, but you just won't know until they are mounted up.
