: I need more light than my older-style headlights are putting out, or perhaps better focused light. The low beamsin particular on my Six are aenemic at best, and at times are downright dangerous.

: Does anyone have any experience upgrading these headlights? What kind of improvement do elipsoids offer, if any? Are there other options that I should consider?

: Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hella H4s are a simple upgrade and inexpensive. The stock bulbs that they come with will make a great difference but you can upgrade them to 100w if you like. Sources in the lighting industry say you should upgrade the wiring and the relays but aficianados say that the wiring on our cars is sufficient for the extra load. Also be advised that you will want to protect your new eyes with stoneguards so that a stone won't cost yor $40 bills. Also, when you put protective covers on the lights, they tend to heat up a bit more. I upgraded the low beams and have been very happ with them.

Best regards,
