I was having this very problem this weekend after trying to make my glovebox light work. The leads are soooo close to each other already. It would blow the computer fuse which also happens to control the overhead and dash lights. I ended up disconnecting the glovebox light altogether and then wrapping the wires with electrical tape. I now use my handy dandy glove box flashlight to find anything in there!

Voila' no more blown fuses.

: Anyone have any luck locating the cause of fuses continuously blowing for the computer display? I'd really like to be able to direct the serviceman to possible solutions instead of the $70+ an hour hit-and-miss approach.
