Sway bar links / BMPD adjustable links worthwhile? (archive)

Posted by Karl on August 23, 1999 at 21:23:53:

Its time to replace the stabilizer (sway) bar links and (lower) control arms on my '88 535i. I'm checking to see if anyone knows of any reasonable upgrades for these parts.

BMP Design has adjustable sway bar links listed for the E28. Has anyone used these? Any improvement?

Any upgrades for the (lower) control arms?

BTW, my performance leaning is towards aggressive street use, some autocross, and occasional track use.

Any help would be appreciated. (Please post an archive link if available... I looked but didn't find anything relevant.)

Are there any good sources that summarize what E28 upgrades are available?

Thanks,

Karl
