I've been running yellow lights here in the Peoples Republic of California for about a year with no problems.
Section 25950(a) of the California Vehicle Code
States:"The emitted light visible from in front of
a vehicle, shall be white or yellow"
The only downside is that not all cops are aware
of this and I have to carry a copy of the code with my registration.
BTW, BMP sells yellow bulbs. I think they run about $12.00 depending on wattage.
