Sensors at front left and rear right wheels. I got mine for $7 at dealer for my 7, when I changed the pads. They're in a nice clean bag in the glove box... sometime when I feel up to it I'll install them just to keep an extra eye out for those pads.. Worst is that the dash light is on... big deal!
Basically don't fret about not having them the day you change the pads.

: I have been calling around looking for the best price for replacement pads for an 86 528e and many of the places I called asked if I needed the sensors too. From my old Chevy days, wear indicators were included with the pads...nothing more than a piece of spring steel. But these guys quote me prices like $14 for "sensors".
: Are they talking about the same thing I am remembering from my old Chevy's? What kind of sensor do these cars have that cost $14?
