The Hella replacements that I got are actually flat faced lights. Naturally I didn't replace the whole light assembly, just the lights, but I believe that the amount of light they give off, the dispersion pattern, and the cost is excellent. And if 55w isn't enough you can get the power of the sun in front of you by going to 100w bulbs and upgrading the wiring. So my question is why go with the whole light assembly which is obviously more expensive?

: Those hella's h4 are bulb replacements for US sealed beams I think (not sure about this so please advise if you know). The Euro spec lenses are flat faced rather than convex, and I am looking to replace the whole headlight assembly. Thanks for the responses from everyone.

: : Are these different from the Hella H4's that are available at your local european import parts store?
