I beg to differ slightly. A 23mm offset is excellent for the rear, and most likely will allow a 225/50 X 16" tire with no rolling, but the front will be a tight fit for the same tire, as most 225's will rub on the strut housing. A 5mm spacer for the front may be just the ticket for wide tires on this offset rim.
