Hey everybody,

How can I tell which engine my car has? My car is a 1985 535i, but(!!) the engine was replaced in 1990. I did not have the car then, so I have no clue which engine my car has. I know it's not a Eta, but I think it most likely is a 3.4L or a 3.5L. Does anyone know of any way I can tell? Thanks in advance.

-Mike

The 535 uses a 3.4xx litre engine. So it is refered to as a 3.4 and as a 3.5
