97 528i FLAWS??? (archive)

I am in the process of buying a 97 528i. After
carefully examine the car, I noticed that there are
cracks on the side of the seat (where the seats
controllers are). The owner told me that most 97
528i have them and that they are just one of the
few flaws of the car. Does anyone else have this
problem? Any info. is greatly appreciated.
