I am putting a 2.8liter from an 85' in my e21, I cant use the electronic fuel injection as it will be a pain to change all the wiring, what exactly do I need to carbeurate this puppy. It is a European motor.
thanks

Are you using the e21 323 subframe, driveline, suspension and brakes? This is an ambitious project at the very least, although worth while if done correctly. If you really don't want to crossover the DME and injection, I would look into the side draft Webers. I saw a 3.0 coupe with (3) Webers, Wow awesome to look at, ran great, fairly easy to set up. Surely someone on the e21, e30, or e9 coupe forum can get you where you need to go. Bring $$$
If it works out post some pics.

good luck
