Quick and easy way to find out: stop car with one side on pavement, other side on dirt or sand. If you have ASR turn it off. Briefly nail the gas. If you leave a tire stripe on the pavement it's LSD. Of course the usual common sense traffic safety caveats apply.
This assumes the clutch pack is ok-- if it's dead, you may still need to look for the "S" stamping on the diff housing as described in one of the other responses.
