I have an 87 535i. All of a sudden I have a major leak of break fluid from the seal between the Master Brake cylinder and the Hydraulic break booster. It is comming right out the bottom of the seal. Does anyone know if I will need to purchase a new brake booster or is there a way to just replace the seal between the booster and the MBC? Everything works fine except that leak. At the end of the day I will loose almost all the brake fluid out of my reserve tank. Can anyone help me with some info. Thanks.
