Two years ago my husband had my car out for a spin and the engine light came on. He assumed a bad light and kept driving -wrong!! By the time I got home he had the engine accessories off and was in the process of a teardown. He finally removed the flywheel bolts last week from the engine and is about to pull the engine out. My question is ... are there any known oil pump issues or recalls on this engine (manual trans.)? The car has alway run low on oil. Thanks for any feedback.
