I am beginning a repair and repaint of an '85 M535. Will the future value be reduced if I change the color from Bronzite beige to Black? Any help and/or opinions would be appreciated.

unless you really do it right, like strip the car down to bare chassis/ remove engine/interior etc. Alot of work. Otherwise it will be a hack job and will never look right

--also everyone will want to know why you changed the colour --was it hit?A much harder resale to any curious buyer.

Since a M535i is fairly rare car, why change it? Bronzit is a very nice.
