I checked the valve clearance today it was the same as it was when i Adjusted them a couple of months ago,the holes still pointing almost straight up (I was told that this is a good sign).

No vaccum leaks. checked with starter fluid, had alot to clean up :) but no leaks at least non that i could find.

So now I dont know what to do.
She runs beauitfuly at higher RPMs. highway speed. But as soon as you stop for a light or stop sign....seems like she is missing fire somewhere or choking :-(

Could it be a bad Catalytic converter? Mine seems a bit rusted with some cracks, but I dont get the classic bad cat smell.

Now I am down to
Bad ignition wires
Bad distributer
Any other suggestions?

Thanks
Syed
