I beg anyone in the LA/Orange county area! Does anyone have the tool needed to hold the water pump pully in place to remove the fan clutch. I am stuck at this point and need my car for work monday. I took a long thin steel bar and drilled a hole in one end to fit one of the fan-pulley bolts. The bar levers against one of the other four bolt heads to hold the pulley in place. I used this with an adjustable wrench on the 32mm nut. Nothing else (including the aforementioned hammer technique) worked.
