I also dealt briefly with the "rats nest" underneath the fusebox...decided to let my tech help me with the problem before I really fouled things up royally ;-) Turned out there was NO fusebox problem...but a dying auxiliary fan motor that was drawing way too much current. All fixed now...but it took me way too much time and headache.

I know from the archives (yeah!) that many of your cars have melted spots in the fuse box. So do I.

I decided I would replace the top portion and ordered subject part.

Yikes! I expected everything o be modular. What a rat's nest under there.

Does anyone have any helpful hints for replacing the fuse box?
