Disconnected the electrical to replace the heater valve core. No brainer. Prior to, everthing was working fine.
Now, the "Brake" and "Engine Oil" lights in the roof panel check grid glow continuously. When I say that, I mean that with the switch off, you can still see the glow in those lights. When the switch is on, they glow brighter, like at startup.
I know how the grid works normally. Brake warning lights up, press on brake pedal, no light in the grid no "CHECK" warning.
The brake lights work and the oil level is correct. Can anyone help me correct this malady or give me a clue about what I boogered up?

sounds weird. this is just a wild-ass guess, but it could be some sorta ground trouble. as in you opened a chassis ground somewhere in your heater core-ectomy.now those groundless components have found a path to ground thru the check panel lights. get an ohm-meter,and start making sure everything you disturbed has a ground.another thing it could be is a loose connector. just re-read your post. if you removed a battery terminal connection,go back clean althe various connections that make it up (both ends)good luck
