All of the switches can be taken apart. Simply drill out the rivets, pull it apart slowly and clean all of the contact surfaces. To put it back together you can either use appropriately sized screws or small nylon ties. I've reconditioned all my switches to like new operating condition.

How do you disconnect the wiring from the switch? On mine the wires are all soldered directly to the switch body. This still doesn't explain the detent spring temperature sensitivity. What's up with that? Thanks again.
