Was just out washing the 88 535i on a nice sunny afternoon. After rinsing the top half off and continuing to wash. Without notice the doors lock. As having just moved the car out of the garage, yes the keys (lucky for 2nd set) were in it. I do not have remote entry. Any one have this happen?

something similar happened to me during a test ride of the grape,86 528e. consider this scenario for your situation. water ran down front right pillar as the result f a blocked sunroof drain. the water dripped onto central locking control located in r footwell behind the speaker,shorting it out,causing the locks to cycle. i use a hide-a-key on all my rides.
