I'll say it is a fair price! I paid $2900 for my '85 528e but it "only" had 99K miles and had dealer records up to 75K! It did had the front suspension shot which I'm doing slowly (I got a quote for about $950 for the whole thing! Ouch!)

Most of the electrical problems are dirty contacts in the fuse box or ground connections. If you buy it, get a Bentley's ASAP!!!
