Don, read my post again. E-28 meant all 5 series through 1988 except for M5's. We all know these will blow away almost anything on the road. I have a 1988 535i (5sp) all stock w/ 89,000k. Just installed new Bilstein sports and Eibachs. I need to get used to the stiffness. Big difference from stock suspension But 500% better handling sticking to the road like gum on hair.

I guess the manual was accurate stating the max at 135+/-5mph.


Any suggestions on Performance Chips?


indicated with some additional ways to go.
probably 10 miles too high for speedo error.

About a week ago, I did the same. Mine got to 130.
