I am currently considering buying my bosses 85 528e. His father has had it since it was new. It has 184,000 miles onit, but runs very well and has all records. It has spent the last 10 years in Texas and has a great body. My questions are:
1)Are they all pretty slow? I'm currently driving an 83 VW GTI (90 horses, 1700 lbs vs 120 horses 3400 lbs)
2)Are they prone to electrical problems? (the OBC works intermittantly, mirrors dont, some dash lights etc.)
He's asking $2000 and I trust him, but is this a good price?
I've owned plenty of cars, German and other , so I know repair costs. Any input will be helpful. Thanks.
