I just put a 3.46 LSD is my '83 533i and love it. The 3.46 was the way to go for me. A 3.73, while readily avail, means I basically lose my 5th gear, which I didn't want to do. I wanted the balance Hard to find though. Only came out of the '87 - '88 528e w/auto. What that means is, besides hard to find, is that they don't get abused. I have a line on one more if you are interested.


Anyone know of a reputable parts dealer for differentials. I am looking for a LSD w/3.64 Gear Ratio I am in NC.
