Had my 88 535 up to 140 in Wyoming, which blew me away because the air's thinner up there. That was on the flat, I hit 150 downhill on I-80! Ought to time my miles, because I couldn't believe it myself.
Everything's stock on the car, and man did it feel rock solid with new susp. bushings and tires. No spoilers or anything like that either.
I'm certain the statute of limitations has expired on that too - all I remember is how fast, not how long ago.
James

How Fast have you taken your E-28? No M-5's please.

Please indicate if w/chip. Please don't do this just so you can post a speed to answer this question. I'm trying to guage my car against others who may have had a chance to open up on a long stretch of road. Came back from LA and was bored driving down I-5 so I decided to open up a bit. I reached 135mph. No modifications. All stock.
