The 635CSi and E34 535i have the same engine as your car already - you wouldn't be gaining much HP therefore. However, go for the Dinan chips, K&N filter, and if you like, a turbo. Just remember, faster = hotter, so keep your cooling system in the loop for modification as well.

I want more power for my 87 535i. I was wondering if a 635csi's engine would fit into the car, or a E34 engine? Which one has more power? Where would I be able to find one if I could?
Also has anyone used any of the Korman turbos?
