E-28 vibration somewhere in the running gear (archive)

Hey people,
After an auto trans rebuild, drive-shaft rebuilt,new center bearing positioned foward properly,new trans mounts,I still got a chatter like vribration on light acceleration from start to about ten miles per hour.The engine mounts are in good shape.The vibration is comming from the drivshaft area somewhere from the middle to the rear of the car.I feels exactly like a bad center bearing or universal joint.I noticed with the car on the rack the rear wheels seemed a little hard to turn with the trans. in nutral.There is no rear-end noise at all.I won't be back to this shop untill Monday(75 miles away)Anybody got any input on this problem I would be very thankful.The car is an E-28 88/535iS automatic.built 9/87
