E32 750,740 and 735 are the same parts. Rotors; 302mmx28mm,pn 34 11 1 159 896. Calpiers; pn 34 11 1 160 363/4. Carriers; pn 34 11 1 160 365. This per the ETK.
Should not be a fittment problem if the carriers are bolting up properly.

Walt

I am currently trying to upgrade the front and rear brakes on my E28 and I am having problems on the fronts. I got E32, '88 750 front calipers and carriers and I ordered E32 750 rotors from a freind of mine at the dealership. I prepped all the parts earlier today and got ready to assemble. After I put the rotor on, I tried to attach the caliper/carrier bracket and I can't get it to line up with the mounting holes. It appears that the overall diameter of the rotor is too large and it is keeping the carrier from lining up.
Do I have the wrong rotors??
Are the other E32 rotors for the 735/740 a different size??
I do have all the correct parts, don't I??
This upgrade is supposed to be a direct bolt-on, correct??
HELP!!

TIA,

Tom in PA
