Paul,

The BMW techs who told you that the control unit would over heat are right. I had my driver's door open one night, and I unlocked my trunk. So, it unlocked the trunk, and then the locks went psycho on me. They locked, and then unlocked probably about twenty times until I ran over to my door and shut it. So I closed the trunk, and unlocked the driver's door with they key, and the power locks just stopped working ; however, they started working the next day.
