Happy Sunday Gang!
I hope the 5ers and Jim in San Diego are having a blast today.
I replaced the oil pressure sending unit yesterday and cleaned the engine bay, top to bottom. Guess what?? More oil leaking, not from the sending unit anymore, but from around the mating point of the passenger side engine mount to the block. Is there an oil gasket between the two pieces? Bentley doesn't seem to comment. I also noticed a little wetness tracing down the side of the block, directly above the mount, around the head/block union. Oh God! That can't be good. Any advice is always appreciated.

im interested as all heck. i should be doing the same with the bormann6.itwas using a qt every 1200mil but itseems to agree with my daughter's driving. its mostly due to leaks.
Wow! I thought I had it bad with occasional oil drips on the garage floor! Mine does NOT burn oil, it just leaks it. I actually have only 73k on a dealer (factory?) rebuild. PO let timing belt snap, but had an extended warranty that bought him a dealer (Fresno) rebuild. I guess those things the dealer sells you really comes in handy afterall.
