It is my understanding that caster is the alignment parameter most responsible for causing pulling of a vehicle when the wheel is let go. It's like a grocery cart, when you push it, the negative caster causes the wheels to swivel around and track in the direction of applied force.

Based on what I've read and learned about E28 front suspensions, the only parameters adjustable are toe in and out via the tie rods, and camber via upper strut plate replacement with a fixed or adjustable plate. The remaining parameter, caster, is dependent on ride height (as is camber) and the condition of suspension components. If the control and thrust (upper control) arms have been replaced, then some bending of the frame might be suspect.

I don't think a worn tie rod or center link would cause a pull, more likely they would result in sloppy steering and tires scalloped along the outer and/or inner edge(s). I don't know if a stiff or seized sway bar link might cause a jacking effect on one side of the car resulting in the pull the other side but, might be worth checking out. Good luck.
