Hello all:

It appears that I have an oil leak coming from the head/block union, on the passenger side, near the fourth cylinder. The leak is noticeable (wetness running down side of block onto the mount area), but not yet to the point of lost power, major oil loss or oil in coolant. Is this something I can live with until Spring, at which time I plan to replace the gasket, timing belt, water pump, belts, and hoses, etc? Also, Bentley says to torque the Torx head bolts in three stages. I understand the first stage (22lbs.), but what does the 90 degree torqueing for stages two and three mean? It says a BMW tool or suitable protractor is needed.

Thanks for any experiences shared on this issue.
